Since the pencil holder will most likely be used indoors, PLA is ideal for this print model. PLA is not only environmentally friendly but also offers excellent print quality and aesthetics. However, the material choice doesn't end here. You can also use other filaments like PETG, ASA, ABS, or Nylon. This choice allows you to design the pencil holder in a variety of colors and finishes to match your individual taste or office ambiance.

The print settings provided here are designed for a 0.4-mm nozzle:

• Wall Generator: preferably Arachne
• Walls: 3
• Bottom Layers: 3
• Top Layers: 3
• Infill: 0% (Zero Percent)
• Ensure Vertical Shell Thickness: On

These settings can be easily found and adjusted in most popular slicing programs like Cura, PrusaSlicer, or BambuStudio/OrcaSlicer. They ensure a sturdy structure. With the “NautiCup”, you bring a touch of functionality and personal style to your workspace.

Depending on the chosen material, it may be necessary to print a brim. This helps improve the adhesion of the parts to the build plate and prevent warping.
